About Sound Healing

Sound Healing can help improve physical and emotional health and well being. This workshop will teach participants how to create sound to enhance personal experiences, family, private clients, and full group sound baths.

Included will be basic history and education of gongs, crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, wave drums, solfeggio pipes, chimes, and how to include them in healing energy work.

Bring any instruments to practice and become more comfortable with the qualities for your healing work. JennieRuth’s instruments will be available for use during the workshop.

Schedule Overview: • 9:00 a.m.: Meet & Greet Enjoy some tea and light refreshments while you meet the other participants and get acquainted with the space. •

9:30 a.m.: Introduction & Workshop Overview We’ll start with a brief introduction and talk about the history and principles of sound healing, what to expect from the day, and how sound interacts with the mind and body. •

10:00 a.m.: Sound Healing Education Session. Energy, vibration, entrainment, and cymatics. We will discuss contraindications and cautions for sound healing. You will be introduced to different sound healing instruments and explore how to play them.

12:30 p.m.: Lunch Break A healthy and nourishing lunch will be provided. Feel free to take your meal outdoors and enjoy some fresh air and natural beauty. •

1:30 p.m.: Nature Connection Activity After lunch, we encourage you to take some time outside in nature. 2:00 p.m.: Second Sound Healing Session In this session, we will dive deeper into the healing power of sound with a more immersive experience, allowing you to practice the instruments alone or with one another before experiencing a balancing sound bath to explore deeper layers of relaxation and healing. •

5:00 p.m.: Reflection & Closing Circle We will gather to share insights and reflections from the day, and discuss how to integrate the benefits of sound healing into daily life. •

6:30 p.m.: Dinner We’ll finish the day with a shared meal and a chance to connect with the group before departing. During our time together, we'll immerse ourselves in moments of peace and silence, cultivating inner serenity through yoga and meditation. This is an all levels yoga retreat, great for beginners.

Indulge in delicious, homemade Persian cuisine crafted with care and love, nourishing both body and soul.

Self-Care Retreat, starting on December 2nd at 10 a.m. and concluding at 5 p.m. It's going to be a rejuvenating day filled with yoga and relaxation and Meditation with pranayama. But that's not all! For those who want to extend their retreat experience, you have the option to stay the night at the tranquil Lake Osceola Retreat. There, you'll have your own cozy room and additional yoga sessions, allowing you to fully unwind. I just got back from a yoga retreat with Elham and Hossein and though I’m a big introvert and was a little anxious to make small talk with the hosts, I had nothing to worry about. We didn’t have small talk, we had BIG talk, and as an introvert on a personal journey of figuring out what I want from life, it was perfect. These two are so passionate and full of life that you feel a connection to them right away.We did mosaic art with Hossein on this retreat, which I didn’t think I would enjoy as much as I did. And he loves it so much, that you can’t help but to start loving it yourself.Elham’s yoga sessions were luxurious. :chef-kiss:. Elham’s yoga is like a deep cleansing for your soul. You just feel so refreshed when you’re done. Like a new person. Very meditative and centering, which is just what I needed.And the food, y’all!! I’m ordering a Persian cookbook tonight. So delicious!Their home and the scenery is beautiful, but the real gem is these lovely hosts. I wanted to stay longer and claim them as my friends. Very good for my soul.

What a beautiful place! From the moment you arrive and drive down the wooded driveway, to seeing the private lake and gorgeous house you feel at peace. The hosts are so welcoming. The house feels energetically clear and well loved. The entire day of doing our yoga sessions, walking in the woods and wonderful meals was what I needed to revive myself. My love to this group!
